“Sod the wine, I want to suck on the writing. This man White is an instinctive writer, bloody rare to find one who actually pulls it off, as in still gets a meaning across with concision. Sharp arbitrage of speed and risk, closest thing I can think of to Cicero’s ‘motus continuum animi.’

Probably takes a drink or two to connect like that: he literally paints his senses on the page.”

VINTAGE 12 SOME BLUE THINGS

these are some of the blue things I snapped during vintage in 2012 ... not great photographs, just snaps of things I thought were blue ... things I reckon to be fairly innocuous ... I trust they trigger a more edifying discussion than the very simple photograph below has done ... snaps by Philip White

I can sure taste those blue influences in the 2012 wines Philip. I hope they give it a mention on the back lables. Its a Miles Davis kind of blue flavour.

Whitey do you reckon there'll be similar blue influences in 2014? from the Clare Girl - it's all green up here one minute then it went blacknblue
