“Sod the wine, I want to suck on the writing. This man White is an instinctive writer, bloody rare to find one who actually pulls it off, as in still gets a meaning across with concision. Sharp arbitrage of speed and risk, closest thing I can think of to Cicero’s ‘motus continuum animi.’

Probably takes a drink or two to connect like that: he literally paints his senses on the page.”

MAYNARD TIES THE KNOT IN ARIZONA

Good friends of DRINKSTER, Caduceus winemakers Maynard Keenan and Jen are getting married today, way up in the sky, where the  vines feed on stones and air.  We tasted a full range of  Caduceus last year when they were in Adelaide for Big Day Out, at which Maynard screamed for his supper with Tool. The wines are absolute knockouts! We wish them the very very best!

How about that Peter Gago!!!!

Fantastic news. So So So excited for him.

Between that, my Union with Jen, a better season for SA, and just time passage in general, I think we're overdue for a re-union. We have many things to celebrate!

BTW, we got married on Feb 29th, Leap Year Day. In an old Al Capone speakeasy in Louisville KY. (I was touring with Puscifer, so I had to make do.)
